Arriving in Annapoli in 2010, Justin began teaching the Bible and mentoring Midshipmen at the US Naval Academy to be disciples of Jesus as the Director of the Baptist Collegiate Ministry. He has been a husband to Tera since 2006 and father to Anna and Judah. After graduating from Texas A&M University in 2004, Justin began serving as an Reserve Air Force Chaplain. (Currently the Wing Chaplain at the 459th ARW, JB Andrews) Justin also holds a Master of Divinity and a Master of Theology in Pastoral Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is also a member of the Evangelical Theological Society.
Justin is currently the interim pastor at South Shore. He is giving directional leadership and preaching the Scripture as South Shore Church continues to glorify God by connecting the Gospel to people, people to community and community on mission.
Minister of Worship and Youth
Chris Peeler became the Minister of Worship and Youth at South Shore in October of 2015. Chris has served as a worship and youth pastor in a number of churches in both Maryland and Kentucky. He and his wife Sara grew up in Maryland before moving to Louisville, Kentucky in August of 2011 to attend Boyce College, the undergraduate school at Southern Seminary. He graduated from Boyce with a B.A. in Pastoral Worship Leadership in May of 2015. Chris is passionate about the gospel, youth and music. His hobbies include meteorology, baseball, and fishing. Chris and Sara have three sons, Silas, Behr and Finley.
David has served as a deacon at South Shore for 28 years, and as the church administrator for the past 14 years. He and his wife Christal have been married for 36 years. They have two children, Christopher and Kelsey, and two grandchildren, Kora Lynn and Kinsley. Dave loves the Redskins and enjoys cooking.
